Historic Coaching Inn built in 1803, (Until recent times the Smugglers was called the Crown Inn.) and the pub has rendered walls, sash windows and a tiled roof. The door has a reeded frame and flat hood supported on scrolled brackets. Timbers from old barns, or some say ships, were used to construct the beamed ceilings inside. Fine quality gastro style pub food served. Large beer garden on to village stream with childrens play area. Dogs welcome.
